| UNDERSTANDING OLDER ADULTS' ENGAGEMENT IN AGING AND TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS:AN AGE-WELL CASE STUDYIn order to gain greater insight from older adults and researchers regarding engagement practises within research and development projects, semi-structured interviews with 8 AGE-WELL project leads and 2 older adults were conducted (N=8 project case studies). Interviews were conducted by telephone or Zoom (a videoconferencing software) and lasted between 40-65 minutes. The interviews were designed based on information gained from a completed OA-INVOLVE survey and a scoping review of the literature concerning older adults' engagement in ageing and technology projects.
The interviews enabled project leads and older adults to reflect on, elaborate and provide greater understanding of the ways in which older adults are involved in AGE-WELL projects and to understand the barriers and facilitators to meaningful engagement.
